Owner, Northeast Audiology
Dr. Hunting opened Northeast Audiology in 2021 but has been practicing audiology in Dover, New Hampshire since 2003. Northeast Audiology is a continuation of audiology care provided through Northeast ENT and Allergy, before the practice closed in 2021. As a former American Sign Language Interpreter, Dr. Hunting believes that communication is essential to well-being and believes that all people deserve access to the sounds in the world around them. Growing up with a sister who is Deaf inspired her to pursue hearing healthcare to help others access communication and inclusion in their lives. Dr. Hunting specializes in diagnostic and neurodiagnostic hearing evaluations, diagnostic vestibular evaluations, hearing aids, and treatment of positional vertigo.
A native of Utah, Dr. Hunting and her husband enjoyed raising their family in New England and her three children have been the joy of her life. In her spare time, Dr. Hunting enjoys volunteering with her church and the community, refinishing and reupholstering furniture, and traveling to visit her family all around the country.

Chantal Simard, Au.D.
Dr. Simard enjoys working with patients to provide individualized treatment plans for their hearing needs and ensures they receive the best care and hearing outcomes. Dr. Simard’s personal experience wearing a hearing aid inspired her to become a Doctor of audiology and believes it helps her relate to patients on a more personal level. As a Doctor of Audiology, Dr. Simard works with patients and their families to understand their audiology evaluation results and find a solution best suited for a patient’s degree of hearing loss, lifestyle, and budget.
Dr. Simard is a New Hampshire native and in her free time enjoys hiking, being outdoors and spending time with her family.

Libby Persons, Au.D.
Dr. Persons has been providing diagnostic audiology in the Seacoast NH area since 2013. She specializes in vestibular testing as well as diagnostic and neurodiagnostic audiological evaluations, seeing both pediatric and adult patients for hearing and vestibular testing. Outside of the office, Dr. Persons enjoys spending time with her family and cats as well as doing various fiber arts such as knitting and sewing.

Karen Lukeman, Au.D.
Dr. Lukeman has extensive experience working in New Hampshire in a variety of settings. She is currently providing care at Northeast Audiology part time while also serving the community in Manchester at other clinics. She is one of only a handful of audiologists with expertise in newborn diagnostic hearing evaluations using Auditory Brainstem Response Evaluations and we are fortunate to have her vast experience in the Seacoast area. Dr. Lukeman also specializes in hearing loss and treatment using hearing aids and assistive devices. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching baseball games, and running marathons all around the world!

Karyl LaRoche
Karyl is the office manager, billing manager, and technology specialist at Northeast Audiology. She has 30+ years of experience working in medical practices and enjoys the personal interactions with patients.
Karyl has become an expert at troubleshooting hearing aid problems, pairing phones to hearing aids, and resolving hearing aid issues quickly to get people back to hearing their best. Born and raised in New Hampshire, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and cat Summer.

Jessica Carbine
Jessica joined Northeast Audiology as a patient care coordinator in 2026, providing excellent patient care to the seacoast area and welcoming every patient with a warm smile and friendly attitude. Jessica has been developing her knowledge of hearing healthcare and is eager to help each patient on their journey to better hearing and balance.
In her spare time, Jessica is an author and loves spending time with her family, going on adventures with her children, and working on the next book in her series!
